The King's Head, Kettlewell
In the middle of the of the bite-sized Yorkshire Dales village of Kettlewell, The King's Head offers character and charm by the bucketload, with plenty of nearby walking and hiking opportunities and pretty market towns just a few miles down the road. It can also lay claim to having the biggest Inglenook fireplace in Wharfedale, a chin-high charmer with a copper fire hood and real coal fire – perfect for warming up cold limbs after a busy hike. A Shaker-style bar takes centre stage in the cosy pub and bedrooms are on the first and second floors.
