Dear Graham

I am a 20-year-old male drama student and I feel more introverted than ever before in my life.

At times I enjoy being alone but at other times I am terribly depressed and lonely. Yet social situations with strangers cause me tremendous anxiety and, thus, I have trouble making new friends. And my old, close friends are becoming more and more distant as we outgrow each other.

This is the time of my life when I should be making lifelong friends and falling in love, but I just feel more and more isolated.
